Like in previous years, Next Generation Cartographers will be present at the ICA’s regional cartographic conference for Europe: EuroCarto 2026. The conference will take place in Brno, Czech Republic from September 8-11, 2026. There are 4 NGC-related activities planned:

• In-person meet-up for NGC members and anyone interested. The venue will be announced closer to the conference date.
• A Mentor-Match workshop for early-career cartographers and students, which will be held prior to the conference. You can register here for the event.
• A workshop on ethical data practices in cartography. For this workshop you can register here
• A Workshop on NGC map tutorials, a fresh initiative by NGC. This workshop will as well be held on Tuesday, 8. September 2026 - 9:00 to 11:00, prior to the conference. You can register for the event here.
